MAPLE BREAD PUDDING 
7 slices bread, cubed
3 c. milk, scalded
2/3 c. maple syrup
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. raisins
Cream
1/2 tsp. nutmeg

Put bread cubes in buttered baking dish and pour scalded milk over bread. Mix in syrup, eggs, salt, cinnamon, and raisins. Sprinkle nutmeg on top. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees. Serve hot with thin cream or whipped cream.
