GERMAN PANCAKES | |
4 eggs 4 tbsp. flour 1 1/2 tbsp. sugar 1/2 c. milk Heat oven to 425 degrees. Beat eggs, flour, sugar, milk and salt. Heat 9-inch frying pan with 2 oz. butter. Add batter, bake for 7 minutes. Reduce heat to 375 degrees and bake for 8 more minutes. Remove from oven and frying pan. Roll pancake on plate, dot with 2 oz. of butter, pour over lemon juice mixture and dust with powdered sugar. Serve hot. LEMON JUICE SYRUP: Add 1/4 cup sugar to the juice of 1 lemon; add cinnamon to taste and mix well before using. |
