1 c. butter 12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate morsels 1 c. peanut butter 12 oz. Rice Chex 16 oz. dry roasted peanuts 1 box raisins 1 1/2 - 2 lbs. powdered sugar Melt butter, chocolate morsels and peanut butter and set aside. Mix Rice Chex, peanuts and raisins in large container. After dry ingredients are thoroughly mixed, pour warm chocolate mixture over and stir until each piece is coated with chocolate mixture. Put 1 1/2 to 2 pounds of powdered sugar in clean garbage bag and add chocolate coated items. Secure top of bag and mix to allow all pieces to become coated with powdered sugar. Refrigerate until set. May need to shake every hour or so to keep from sticking together. After set, remove from refrigerator and store at room temperature. May be frozen for later use. Makes a lot. |
