STRAWBERRY BLITZ TORTE 
1 yellow cake mix
6 egg yolks

MERINGUE:

6 egg whites, beaten until foamy
2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vinegar
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar

Use amount of water specified on cake mix plus 6 eggs, yolks only. Beat well. Pour or spread in 12 x 18 inch greased pan. Top with meringue.

MERINGUE: Beat egg whites until foamy. Gradually add sugar, salt, vinegar and cream of tartar. Spread on top of unbaked cake mixture. Bake at 350 degrees 20 minutes or until done. Cut in squares, top with strawberries and whipped cream. 32 pieces.
