BLITZ TORTE 
ream together:

1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
4 egg yolks (add 1 at a time)

dd:

3 tbsp. milk
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder

MERINGUE TOP:

4 egg whites
10 tbsp. sugar

Mix together first 6 ingredients. Put in two round cake tins. Cover with Meringue topping. Bake at 325 degrees until done, approximately 35-45 minutes.

FILLING FOR TORTE:

1 c. soured milk
3 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. cornstarch

Boil, stirring constantly, until thick. Beat in 1 egg and 1 teaspoon vanilla.
