BUTTER NUT BROWN PIE 
20 Ritz crackers, coarsely crushed
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. pecans, finely chopped
3 lg. egg whites
1/2 c. brown sugar

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix crackers, pecans and baking powder; set aside. Beat egg whites until they are very stiff. Continue to beat and add sugar, a teaspoon at a time; then the brown sugar, a teaspoon at a time. Fold in cracker mixture. Place in a buttered pie plate. Bake for 25 minutes. Cool and top with whipped cream.
