APPLESAUCE NUT BREAD 
1/4 c. butter
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
2 lg. eggs
3 c. applesauce
1 c. wheat flour
3 c. white flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 c. walnuts, chopped

Cream butter and sugar together. Beat in eggs until light and fluffy. Blend in applesauce. Combine flour, soda, salt and cinnamon. Add to creamed mixture and mix enough to moisten ingredients. Fold in nuts. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Pour batter into 2 lightly buttered and floured 8-inch loaf pans. Bake 45-50 minutes.
