GINGERBREAD MEN | |
I used a smallish gingerbread man cookie cutter and made about 3 dozen. They really turned out great with a mild taste! 1 pkg. spice cake mix (your choice) 1 cup all-purpose flour 2 tsp. ground ginger 2 eggs 1/3 cup oil 1/2 cup molasses (Grandma's) Put cake mix, flour and ginger in a large bowl and stir with a fork until blended. Add remaining ingredients. Beat with an electric mixer on medium for 2 minutes. Cover dough and refrigerate for 2 hours. Use a floured surface for rolling the dough out to 1/4-inch. Cut out cookies. Place on a greased cookie sheet or ungreased baking stone (I like baking stones). Bake at 375°F for 10 to 15 minutes. Remove pan. Let cool for 5 minutes on pan then put on wire racks to cool completely. Makes about 3 dozen. Submitted by: squawkamole |
