3 c. Mix
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
2/3 c. water

Blend. Put in pan and cover with topping: 3 tbsp. melted butter 1/2 tsp. cinnamon Nuts and raisins; optional

Bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes. Yields a 9 inch cake.
