OVEN BEEF STEW 
1 1/2 to 2 lb. beef
1 med. onion
3 med. potatoes (diced)
3 carrots (sliced)
1 can garden peas (large)
1 can mushroom soup

Line pan with foil (enough to pull over stew). Put meat in bottom of pan. Put onion on top of meat. Pour in peas (liquid and all). Add potatoes, carrots and spoon over mixture cream of mushroom soup. Salt and pepper to taste. Cook at 300 degrees for about 3 hours.
