MORMOR'S MAYONNAISE 
3 egg yolks
1/2 tbsp. salt
Fresh lemon juice
2 c. oil, olive or salad

Beat egg yolk until pale and thick. Add salt and a teaspoon of lemon juice. While beating, add oil drop by drop in the beginning. After you have about a cup of oil, you may start adding the oil faster by the tablespoon (make sure oil is completely absorbed before adding more oil). When mayonnaise gets too thick, add droplets of water or lemon juice. Add salt and pepper to taste.
