CARDAMOM BRAID | |
6-6 1/2 c. flour 2 pkg. dry yeast 2 c. warm water 1 tsp. crushed cardamom seed 2 eggs, room temperature 1/3 c. sugar 1 tsp. salt 1/2 c. butter, softened 1 tbsp. milk Sugar Measure flour onto piece of waxed paper. Set aside. Sprinkle yeast into 2 cups warm water in large mixing bowl. Stir until dissolved. Stir in cardamon seed, 1 egg, 1/3 cup sugar, salt, butter and 3 cups flour. Beat with wooden spoon until smooth. Add enough flour to make soft dough. |
