ITALIAN BEEF 
5 1/2 lbs. rump roast
5 c. water
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 1/2 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. fennel
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. pepper
1 drop liquid anise extract
1/2 tsp. rosemary
1 1/2 tsp. Accent
1 sm. can tomato paste

Mix together all ingredients except rump roast, and pour over meat in roaster. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees and then 3 hours at 300 degrees. When meat is cool, slice thin. Strain liquid and pour over sliced meat, may be done a day before serving. Heat in juice to serve.
