1 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. flour
1/3 c. butter
milk
salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Melt butter in a 1-cup measuring cup. Add milk to fill to the 1 cup mark. Add a pinch of salt and vanilla. Mix the sugar, baking powder and flour and incorporate into the milk mixture. Pour batter into an 8 or 9-inch pan sprayed with cooking spray.

Bake at 375°F for 20 minutes or until lightly browned.
