TEXAS HASH 
3 tbsp. oil
1 lg. green pepper
1 lb. ground beef
2 c. tomatoes
1 c. uncooked rice
1 tsp. chili powder
3 lg. onions
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 tsp. salt

Dice and cook in oil onions and peppers. Add and fry beef until falls apart and is no longer pink. Stir in tomatoes, rice, chili powder, salt and pepper. Pour into greased 2 quart casserole. Cover and bake 1 hour at 350 degrees. Serve hot.

Can be stretched by adding a can of kidney beans or leftover pintos before baking.
