ROAD RUNNER BREAKFAST 
1 1/2 c. water
1/2 c. instant Cream of Wheat
1 sliced ripe banana
1/2 c. skim milk
1/4 c. unsweetened apple juice
1 tbsp. Grape-Nuts

Use deep container to prevent boil over. Mix water, Cream of Wheat and fruit. Microwave on regular heat for 4 minutes. (Interrupt cooking 3 or 4 times to stir to prevent lumping.) Remove from source of heat and stir in milk, apple juice and Grape-Nuts. If milk and juice has cooled food too much, return to oven for 45 seconds. Serves 1 to 4, depending on who you are!

VARIATIONS:

Substitute Cream of wheat for Cream of Rice or oatmeal or Ralston. To be assured of a healthier meal, purchase the kind that is free of salt, sugar and disodium phosphate.

Substitute banana for pitted prunes, raisins, peaches, dried apricots or other fruits.
