GINGER SNAPS 
2/3 c. shortening (Crisco)
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. molasses
1 egg
2 tsp. baking soda
2 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon

Mix all ingredients well. Roll into little balls and then roll them in sugar. Bake in 350 degree oven 10-12 minutes.
