1 c. shortening
1 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
Nuts

Cream shortening and sugars, add eggs and vanilla. Combine dry ingredients. Add to creamed mixture. Fold in chocolate chips and nuts. Bake on greased cookie sheet 10-12 minutes in 375 degree oven.
