BEER BREAD 
3 c. self-rising flour
3 1/2 tbsp. sugar
1 (12 oz.) can beer
1/2 c. oil, separate into 1/4 c.

Mix together flour, sugar, and beer with a spoon (do not beat). Batter will be thin. Mix 1/4 cup oil in batter. Oil 9 x 5 inch bread pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Remove from oven. Pour and spread 1/4 cup cooking oil over top of bread. Return to oven and bake 25 to 30 minutes more or until golden brown. After baking, remove from pan. Cool 30 minutes on a rack. Put in a plastic bag to keep fresh.
