1 1/4 c. boiling water
1 stick butter
2 eggs
1 c. sugar (white)
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. oatmeal
1 1/3 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. brown sugar

Pour boiling water over oatmeal and let stand 2 minutes. Then add other ingredients and mix well. Bake 35 minutes in oven at 350 degrees.

OATMEAL CAKE FROSTING:

1 c. brown sugar
1 c. coconut
1/2 stick butter
1/2 c. Pet milk

Mix and pour on cake. Put cake back in oven and broil until brown. Remove from oven and cool.
