APPLEBUTTER 
6 lbs. apples
6 c. apple cider
3 c. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves

Peel, core and quarter apples; cook with cider until soft. Press through food mill. Return to pot, add sugar and spices. Cook about one hour longer, stirring often. Can in hot jars. This also keeps well in the refrigerator.
