SNAP PEAS WITH BACON DRESSING | |
3 slices bacon, diced 1 pkg. (8 oz.) snap peas, frozen 2 tbsp. water 2 tsp. finely chopped onion 1/4 tsp. celery seed 1/4 tsp. salt 1/3 c. tomato juice 1 tsp. vinegar Brown bacon lightly in saucepan. Add peas, water, onion, celery seed, and salt. Bring to a full boil over medium-high heat, separate peas with a fork. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 5 to 7 minutes or until peas are tender. Add tomato juice and vinegar. Heat and serve. Makes 3 servings. |
