ECONOMY BISCUIT MIX 
8 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. dry milk
5 tbsp. baking powder
1 tbsp. salt
1 c. solid shortening

Combine dry ingredients and mix well. Work in shortening until it resembles cornmeal. Store in air tight container in cool place. To make biscuits add 3/4 cup water to 2 3/4 cup mix, stir, turn on floured board and knead lightly. Shake and bake at 425 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.
