RUSSIAN DILL PICKLES 
1 c. water
1 c. vinegar
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. pickle spices, put in bag

Boil the above. Put dill at bottom of jar. Fill jar with pickles. Put 1 small teaspoon salt in each jar. Pour juice over pickles. Put in canner and boil for 5 minutes.
