FRUIT COCKTAIL CAKE | |
2 c. flour 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda 2 eggs 1 1/2 c. sugar Pinch of salt 1 (No. 303) can fruit cocktail, juice & all Beat eggs; add sifted dry ingredients and cocktail. Bake at 300 degrees (very slow) for 1 hour or until done in sheet pan. ICING: 1 c. sugar 1/2 c. Carnation milk 1 stick butter Boil 2 minutes. Add 1 can coconut and 1/2 cup chopped pecans. Put on cake while both are hot. |
