1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped celery
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
2 tbsp. butter
1 (12 oz.) bottle Heinz chili sauce
1 1/2 lbs. lean ground beef
1 c. soft bread crumbs
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper

Saute onion, celery and green pepper in butter until tender. Stir in chili sauce. Combine 1/2 cup this mixture with ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, salt and pepper. Serve remaining sauce over meat. Cook 1 hour at 350 degrees.
