BANANA CREAM PIE 
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. all purpose flour or 1/4 c. corn starch
1/4 tsp. salt
3 c. milk
2 eggs, beaten
3 tbsp. butter
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Graham cracker crust
Cool Whip
3 or 4 bananas

In medium saucepan combine sugar, flour or corn starch, and salt, gradually stir in milk. Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened and bubbly. Reduce heat cook and stir 2 minutes more. Remove from heat. Gradually stir 1 cup of hot mixture into eggs. Return egg mixture to saucepan; bring to a gentle boil. Cook and stir 2 minutes more. Remove from heat. Stir in butter and vanilla. Let cool. Slice bananas. Place layer of bananas on graham cracker crust. Pour half of pudding on top of bananas. Next, another layer of bananas and rest of pudding. Top with Cool Whip.
