CHINESE CABBAGE SALAD 
1 grated cabbage
2 grated carrots
1 sm. white onion, diced
2 pkgs. Ramen noodles, discard flavor packet

Combine first 3 ingredients and set aside. Break up noodles and brown in 3/4 stick butter (just under 1/2 cup); drain. Brown in 1/4 cup butter: 1 c. slivered raw almonds

Right before serving, mix all together and pour on dressing.

DRESSING:

1 c. oil
1/2 c. white vinegar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. soy sauce
1 c. sugar
