BROCCOLI - CHEESE SOUP | |
4 or 5 strips turkey bacon 1/2 c. chopped onions 1/4 c. chopped celery 2 (10 3/4 oz.) cans cream of mushroom soup 4 c. frozen diced potatoes 1 (20 oz.) frozen chopped broccoli 1 lg. box Velveeta cheese, cut into 1/2-in. cubes) 2 1/2 c. milk 3 tbsp. butter Saute onions and celery in melted butter. Cook bacon and cut into small pieces. Put everything in crock pot and cook on high for 1 1/2 hours. Then turn on medium for 5 hours, stirring often until broccoli and potatoes are tender. If you like hot spicy foods, try spicy hot Velveeta cheese. Add your own spices. |
