OREO COOKIE & ICE CREAM DESSERT 
1 lg. bag Oreos
1 stick butter
Hershey's chocolate syrup
1 lg. Cool Whip
1/2 gal. ice cream (vanilla, chocolate chip or mint chocolate chocolate chip is best)

Remove 4-5 cookies from bag and set aside. Crush remaining cookies and put into 9 x 13 inch pan. Melt butter and pour over Oreos. Stir until it becomes pretty solid. Spread flat. Let ice cream sit out until it becomes soft enough to spread over cookies.

Pour Hershey's chocolate syrup over ice cream (amount is up to you, I just cover ice cream totally). Spread thawed Cool Whip over chocolate and top with remaining 4-5 cookies (crumbled). Return to freezer. When ready to serve, remove and cut.
