OREO-COOKIE-ICE CREAM DESSERT 
24 crushed Oreo cookies
1/2 stick melted butter
1/2 gal. soft vanilla ice cream
4 oz. German chocolate
1/2 c. butter
2/3 c. sugar
2/3 c. evaporated canned milk (NOT sweetened)
1/8 tsp. vanilla
8 oz. Cool Whip
1/2 c. chopped pecans

Sprinkle cookie crumbs over bottom of 9 x 13 inchpan. Drizzle melted butter over cookies. Spread soft ice cream over cookies-oleo. Freeze until firm.

Combine German chocolate and next 4 ingredients on stove and bring to a boil. Boil for 4 minutes. Stir in vanilla. Cool. Pour over ice cream. Top with Cool Whip. Sprinkle with chopped nuts. Freeze until firm.
