SEA FOAM FROSTING 
2 egg whites
1 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1/8 tsp. salt
1/3 c. water
1 tsp. vanilla

In top of double boiler, combine all ingredients except vanilla. Beat until well blended about 1 minute. Place over simmering water and beat about 3 minutes with electric beater until mixture holds soft peaks. Remove from water and beat until frosting forms and retains swirls when beater is lifted.
