BURGUNDY BALLS 
2 1/2 c. vanilla wafers, crushed
1 c. powdered sugar
2 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. ground nuts
1/4 c. rum or whiskey, etc.
2 tbsp. Karo syrup

Mix well, shape into small balls, roll in powdered sugar, store in cookie tin and let ripen at least one week. Makes approximately 4 dozen.
