| 7 - UP CAKE | |

1 c. 7-Up 3 c. sugar 3 sticks butter 3 c. cake flour (softasilk) 5 eggs 3 tsp. vanilla extract 3 tsp. lemon extract Cream butter and sugar. Beat eggs into batter 1 at a time. Alternate flour and 7-Up into batter. Blend in extract. Beat until butter is smooth. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 10 minutes. | |

This is the second time I've followed this recipe... My co-worker always ask me to bring a 7up cake to work whenever my Ma Dukes or my mother-in-law fly in from New York for the holidays... Well this the second time they haven't been able to tell the difference... It is that good!
