WILD RICE CASSEROLE | |
1 1/2 lbs. pork sausage (Jimmy Dean sausage) 3 stalks celery, chopped fine 1 lg. onion, chopped 2 cans mushrooms, buttons or stems & pieces 2 pkgs. Lipton chicken noodle soup (dry) 4 1/2 c. boiling water 1 c. wild rice 1 pkg. slivered almonds Brown pork sausage, celery and onion; drain. Add Lipton soup mix, boiling water and wild rice; mix well. Add slivered almonds and mushrooms. Bake 1 1/2 hours, covered at 350 degrees, stirring 2 to 3 times. |
