SANGRIA 
1 orange
1/4 c. sugar, or to taste
2 c. orange juice
1/4 c. lemon juice
1 sm. lemon, halved lengthwise & sliced crosswise
3 1/3 c. dry red wine
2 c. ice cubes
2 c. club soda, or to taste

With vegetable peeler cut orange part of peel (zest) in large strips; place in large pitcher. Add sugar and with back of spoon press sugar against peel a few minutes to release oil. Stir in juices, lemon slices and wine; refrigerate. Just before serving, adding ice cubes and soda. Makes about 8 cups.
