FUDGE PIE | |
6 oz. butter 3 (1 oz.) sq. unsweetened chocolate 1/2 c. flour 3 eggs, beaten 1 1/2 c. sugar 2 tsp. vanilla 1/8 tsp. salt 9-inch pie crust (unbaked) vanilla ice cream whipping cream or Cool Whip chocolate sauce, slightly heated chopped pecans Melt chocolate and butter together over low heat. Beat 3 eggs. Add the flour, sugar, vanilla and salt to the eggs. Gradually add the melted chocolate and butter mixture. After the mixture is well beaten, pour into the pie shell and bake at 325°F for 35 to 40 minutes. To serve, heat one slice of pie in the microwave. Top with one scoop of vanilla ice cream and a large dollop of whipped cream. Drizzle with the heated chocolate sauce and sprinkle with chopped pecans. |
