CORN DOGS 
1/2 c. enriched corn meal
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/2 c. milk
2 tbsp. oil
1/2 c. flour
dash of garlic powder
1 egg, beaten
1 lb. wieners

Heat oil in deep fryer to 375°F. Combine corn meal, flour, salt, oregano and garlic powder. Add milk, egg and oil; mix well. Roll each wiener in small amount of flour, then dip in batter; drain off excess. Deep-fry until golden brown.
