HOT BUTTERED RUM MIX | |
1 lb. butter 1 qt. French vanilla ice cream 1 lb. powdered sugar 1 lb. brown sugar 2 tsp. ground nutmeg 2 tsp. ground cinnamon Blend all of the ingredients together and cook over low heat in a saucepan until creamy and smooth. Allow to cool. Place in a covered freezer container and freeze until needed. TO SERVE: Place 3 tablespoons of the frozen mixture in a cup. Add 1 jigger of rum and 6 ounces of boiling water and stir. Serve with a cinnamon stick or a sprinkle of nutmeg. Should be shared with someone you love, on a cold night by the fire (although its great for parties too). |
