SOUTHERN PECAN PIE 
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. corn syrup
1/4 c. butter, melted
3 eggs, well beaten
1 c. pecans
2 tsp. vanilla
1 (9 inch) unbaked pie shell

Combine sugar, syrup and butter; add eggs and pecans. Mix well; pour into pie shell (unbaked). Bake at 350 degrees for 45 or 50 minutes. Yield: 6 servings.

PIE CRUST:

2 c. flour
1 c. Crisco
1/2 c. water

Makes three 9 inch crusts.
