SOUTHERN CASSEROLE 
1 1/2 c. water
1 med. head cabbage
1 med. onion
3 lg. potatoes
3 lg. carrots
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
1 lg. slice ham, tenderized

Heat water in sauce pan or electric fry pan. Cut vegetables in quarters and add to boiling water. Add salt and pepper. Cut ham into 4 to 6 servings and place on top of vegetables. Cover and cook slowly about 1 hour.
