CLASSIC FUDGE FROSTING 
1 pkg. (8 squares) Baker's Semi-Sweet Chocolate
1/4 c. (1/2 stick) butter
2 lbs. (8 c.) confectioners' sugar
Dash of salt
2/3 c. milk
2 tsp. vanilla

To fill and frost 2-layer cake use 4 squares chocolate, 2 tablespoons butter, 4 cups confectioners' sugar, salt, 1/2 c. milk and 1 teaspoon vanilla.

Melt chocolate and butter in saucepan over very low heat, stirring constantly. Mix together sugar, salt, milk and vanilla; add chocolate mixture, blending well. Let stand, if necessary, until of spreading consistency, stirring occasionally. Spread quickly, adding a small amount of additional milk if frosting thickens. Makes 4 cups or enough to fill and frost a 4 layer cake.
