INDIAN SWEET POTATO CRISP 
12 sweet potatoes
3/4 c. butter
1/4 c. flour
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
1/2 c. heavy cream
1/4 c. finely ground nuts

Cook potatoes. Peel and slice 1/2 inch thick. Spread on buttered large, shallow baking dish. Sprinkle with butter, flour and other ingredients. Broil until bubbly and caramelized.
