ASPARAGUS QUICHE 
1 1/2 lb. fresh asparagus, cooked and cut at bias into bite size pieces
1 (9 inch) unbaked pie crust
8 slices bacon, cooked, drained and crumbled
8 oz. shredded Swiss cheese
4 eggs
1 1/2 c. half and half
1 tsp. garlic salt or powder
Pepper to taste

Bake pie crust at 400 degrees for 10 minutes, remove from oven and reduce oven to 375 degrees. Sprinkle asparagus into pie crust, then bacon, then cheese. Beat eggs, half and half, and spices, and pour into pie crust. Bake for 40 minutes. Let stand approximately 10 minutes before cutting. Serves 6.
