EASY CHEESE COFFEE CAKE 
2 pkgs. (8 each) refrigerator crescent rolls
2 (8 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese
1 c. sugar
1 egg, separated
1 tsp. vanilla or almond extract
1/2 c. powdered sugar plus 1 egg white

Press 1 package of rolls in the bottom of 13 x 9 inch pan. Mix cream cheese, sugar, egg yolk, and extract. Spread on top of crescent rolls. Press other package of crescent rolls on a wax paper and transfer to top of cheese mixture. Mix powdered sugar and egg white. Spread on top. Bake 30 to 35 minutes at 350 degrees.
