JOHN'S FAVORITE SEAFOOD GUMBO 
6 slices bacon, fried & crumbled
3 med. potatoes, diced
1 lb. can tomatoes
Pepper to taste
1/2 dozen crabs, cleaned
3 tbsp. flour
1/2 c. onion
Salt to taste
1 pkg. crab boil
1 lb. cleaned shrimp

Fry bacon. Take out of pan and add flour and water to grease to make a roux. Add crumbled bacon, potatoes, onion, tomatoes, salt, pepper and crab boil. Cook until potatoes are tender. Remove crab boil bag and add crabs and shrimp and cook just until crabs and shrimp turn pink, 3 to 5 minutes. Serve over hot rice.
