SUGARED WALNUTS 
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. water
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. walnut halves

Mix sugar, salt and cinnamon together in a pot. Add water and bring to a soft boil and boil about 15 minutes to a temperature of 375°F. DO NOT STIR. Remove from heat and add vanilla and nuts. Stir until creamy and coated. Turn out on wax paper.
