HAM AND CHICKEN CASSEROLE 
1/2 lb. cooked ham
2 tbsp. chopped onion
1/2 c. milk
1 can (10 oz.) condensed cream of chicken soup
1 tbsp. sugar
1 c. diced American cheese
1 c. diced cooked chicken
3 c. soft bread crumbs
1 tbsp. chopped pimento
2 tbsp. melted butter

Cut ham into small cubes and brown in a skillet. Brown onion in same skillet. Combine soup and milk. Heat until blended. Add sugar, cheese and chicken. Place 1 cup of bread crumbs in bottom of 1 1/2 quart casserole. Add layer of ham and onion. Add layer of 1 cup bread crumbs. Put chicken mixture over crumbs. Top with remaining bread crumbs and pimento. Dribble butter over all. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Serves 6-8.
