3 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
6 tbsp. cocoa
12 tbsp. cooking oil
2 tbsp. vinegar
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. water
1 c. black coffee

Sift all ingredients together right into baking pan. Do not grease pan. Smooth out ingredients and make 3 holes. In 1 hole, put cooking oil. In another hole, put vinegar and in last hole, put vanilla. Now put water and black coffee over all and beat smooth with a fork or spoon.

Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes. Cool and ice with favorite frosting or put a teaspoonful of Cool Whip on each piece.
