EFFORTLESS FIVE HOUR STEW 
2 lbs. stewing beef, cut in bite-size pieces
12 sm. white onions
1 c. chopped celery
2 potatoes, cut in 8ths
6 carrots, cut in pieces
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce with cheese
1 can water
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
Fresh garlic (optional)

Combine all ingredients in casserole. Cover and bake at 250 degrees for 5 hours. 6 servings.
